All
of us are driven by values. Is our quest to succeed in all walks of life, has
made us greedy, valueless and mechanized living beings? It’s time to think in
the betterment of society and people around us. Today the only goal of everyone
is to lead a sophisticated and aristocratic life without working for it. We
want a lottery for our pleasure & life. We give chocolates, gifts to crying
children to make them happy and to stop their adamant nature. By this we are setting
a trend in them, which may drag them away from true values. So let us build
values such as honesty, care, truth, justice etc so that personal values should
sync with social values.
All
multinational organizations’ are realizing the importance of values, so they
are more interested in adapting the corporate social responsibility in their
business charter. We take lot from society, but contribute according to our
capacity. If each individual along with the organizations think in the same
manner as certain MNCs then we could build better society.
Human
values are inculcated among the children while they are growing. It is not a
one day phenomenon. It needs active process since childhood, because suddenly a
big tree can’t be able to bend as we want. Care for downtrodden, patients and
elderly people is the need of the hour. They are thousands of people who are
not able to earn their livelihood and have full meal a day. So let us join
hands to be their voice and support their living in good faith & trueness.
Family
is a cradle of values. Children learn from their parents, elderly and
relatives. So let us elder people set a moral, ethical example to the other
members of family especially kids. There is saying “To educate a family, educate
a woman” and which is also true for values as well. The world is one because of
internet. So we should discard the narrow mindedness such as I belong to this,
that etc. A general movement “I belong to Earth & all belong to the
humanity” should arise among the people.
In
the digital and mobile era people are more connected than previously. So a
change in one part of the world is spread to the other part of another nation
in no time. Let us build societies, nations that cherish values and spread
happiness like Santa Claus.
