Are you crazy about mobiles and new technology? According the new survey the tech buyers are more interested in Second Hand High-End Smartphone. A survey firm by name Gartner has come up with a report that used smartphone market is around 120 million units or a wholesale value of  $14 billion by 2017. Now a days consumers are mature as per the market dynamics. They want to upgrade to the new technology every 18 to 20 months.

So automatically the question  arises is what they will do with their old smart phone devices? People just give away the old gadgets to friends, relatives in the past. But the trend is changing. They want to sell it or exchange it with new mobiles. Within same family, atleast one member is always thinking of upgrading their mobile and with a member using the old phone. While purchasing the old smart phone do follow certain initial checks as follows :
1) Make sure the phone is not locked by previous owner. If locked, ask to unlock.
2) On websites please give emphasis on Buy It Now prices than on current bids.
3) Check the prices and features you are looking for than the median price.
4) Protect your warranty, if you can buy a new smartphone worth the second hand price, 
     by purchasing new mobile.
5) Check for the scratches, dents on the surface and to the battery.
6) Check all the ports are working or not.
7) Check for the various accessories and ask for them along with the old mobile.
8) Run the service code test which checks all the aspects of the phone : screen, dimming, speaker, cameras,      receiver, vibration, RGB, sensors, and more
9) Use your laptop, charging cable, headphones, microSD card to check the working.
10) People purchase on eBay, Swappa, Social Networking ( but meet in-person to make any final decision)
